A2601 3D USB or PS2 Mouse Controller 1. Description A2601ZDC is a 3D mouse controller especially designed for USB or PS/2 applications. It is a low cost mouse solution. It can support the USB Standard Requirements as well as HID Class Requirements version 1.1. It is compatible with Microsoft/Intel 3D PS/2 mouse. The X/Y axis photo input with dynamic photo-input resistor and Z axis can support two kinds of scroll wheel input, namely: opto-mechanical and mechanical. It requires minimal external components to implement 3D USB or PS/2 mouse. It can be briefly described as an Apexone ASIC with on-chip USB interface logic.
